Our 3 princesses

Logan is still very into "dressing up" in my shoes! She loves these red ones the most, the girl has such a good taste in shoes! Hopefully she will love them as much as me and we will be able to go shoe shopping all the time together! As for the headband...well, ya, not as cute but she found all her sister's and wanted to try them ALL on!

Karsyn's new favorite thing to do is sit on a blanket and unload her bucket of "stuff" (Thanks Jen for the idea). She will sit and unload it until it is gone and then everything is out of reach and I have to reload it for her, just to do all over again. Sounds sucky you say...I love it, she will sit there forever sometimes and just entertain herself. This is the stage I have been waiting for for as long as I can remember. Now if we can just get Kennedy to do the same, although she just rolls onto her side and does the same thing most times so that works! This picture is funny because she was actually giving me a big smile but I caught it at the wrong time! She is so much happier now that she doesn't just have to lay on her back!
Here she is in motion pulling everything out!
Logan has been begging to paint her hands since she saw it in one of her "Highlights" magazines. They painted like animals and faces on their hands...so here is hers! Logan is so good to keep herself busy so once in a while I can just sit around (usually on the computer) while the girls are sleeping. I love you Logan Jane!
By the end I think her hand had about 8 coats of paint on them and it was pretty much brown but she had a blast and then washed it off and was onto the next thing.
Our sweet Kennedy!
We can't wait until we get to take off her helmet for good, she is so happy without all that "getup"!
Logan playing on her laptop that Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Chuck gave her for Christmas!
Just a little shot of our big girl Karsyn playing...sitting up so good!

Just as a little "PS" we have sold our house!!! (Well I guess it is under contract until the closing date and these days you never know). We are starting to get all of our crap packed up and in boxes since if all goes as planned we only have until Feb 27th to be out! We don't know right now what we are doing, or where we are going. There are options flying everywhere and it would be nice to know our future but for now we just take it week by week. Kurt's situation at work has been so weird because, as most of you know, he was told that at his new job, he was being laid off because the state cut a bunch of the bridges that his company was going to do. Because he was the new guys, his job was the first to go. So far, he has still been working, they told him that if he had work to do the next day he could come in, and if he didn't he couldn't. He really only missed a few days working that way, and now the state just announced that they were now able to fund all the jobs again and Kurt was OK to stay for a while. I am sure that if something comes up, like one of the jobs he has been working on, he will still take it. Hopefully this means that we will be sticking around here (in the state I mean). Until we know what we will be doing for work, this is the best option for us is to sell and then restart with a house when we we have a stable job! We will see what happens!

Some firsts and lasts for the twins 10 month bday!

One night before the girls turned 10 months we decided it was time for them to move to their own room! While I know the girls are OK sleeping together most of the time, I think they are really going to like having their own beds!
Good night babies! Their first night in their new rooms they both slept so good, not waking up all night! As long as we can stay healthy both girls are such good sleepers.
Karsyn gets to sleep in the "new" bed, just because she was awake when we put it together and Kennedy was already asleep in the other one. Thanks cousin Makinlee for letting us borrow your cute bedding and Grandma Laurie for the second crib.
Now as for the "lasts", the girls are pretty much over the whole breastfeeding thing (sorry if that is TMI for some of you). They have showed less and less interest over the last little while but they are officially done. Karsyn is totally on formula and I am still trying to nurse Kennedy at night and sometimes first thing in the morning. I have mixed feelings about this, I am kinda sad because we beat so many odds getting them to nurse at all and I actually like being able to give this to them and I don't want to start buying formula for 2! In the same breath I am so excited to have my body back for myself and also have people help me feed them more...maybe we will be able to go out a little more and leave them with people! Anyway I am sure that was more than most of you cared to hear but oh well!

Lots of stuff

Logan had her second preschool field trip. They got to go to the grocery store "Dan's" in Layton and have a fun little tour showing them all the different departments like their break room, the dairy section, the meat department, and last the bakery where they got a yummy cookie! This is a picture of all the kids in her class, sorry I can't name them because I really don't know them all but Logan is one of only three girls and ten boys!

All the pictures are of Logan's back so I won't post much but they had fun!
Just the girls in the tub, lovin' it!
Logan has been begging and begging to go back to the Tree House Museum in Ogden so we finally made it on Monday to toddler time. This is Kennedy and I in the "classroom"!
Grandma and Karsyn playing at the table!
Makinlee planting a flower!
You can't leave without taking a picture with the grandma chair.
Logan in the tea room

Logan and Kurt went up skiing on Saturday for the first time this season and got to go up with Jake and Uncle Scott...it was Jake's first time!
Scott and Jake going up the magic carpet ride!
If anything they are dang cute!
Just a few pictures of us gals hanging out at home!
Karsyn
Kennedy
Logan posing for a few pictures
Me and Logan
Logan doing her puzzles. She is so good to make herself busy while I am tending to the twins...usually!
I just had to throw in these funny pictures because lately Logan has thought she was pretty funny trying to make the girls laugh. Kennedy actually loves when Logan is all in her face and tickling her and stuff!
Her favorite is when they are getting ready for bed or getting their diapers changed and she can stand at the edge of the bed and tickle them while they are in just their diapers.

Just Stuff!

This first thing isn't really "just stuff" it is huge...well it is getting there anyway. KARSYN CAN SIT. I say almost because she still falls over a bunch but she is sitting so good. Kennedy will just have to hang out in her bumbo for a little bit longer until she is also strong enough to sit.
Here is our little Karsyn being such a big girl!
She doesn't last forever so as you can see she is back in her bumbo with Kennedy while I finished cooking dinner.

Kennedy does this face every time I go get the camera, she must not know what to think of the it. Kennedy went to the helmet doctor today and he couldn't believe how much better her head was. We could all tell but it was good to hear that he thought it looked so good. He said that if all goes as planned she should have about a month or two more and then she can take it off! I just hope that she can celebrate her first birthday (March 18th if anyone forgot) without it...and hopefully at least sitting!
Just another picture of the other night when Karsyn first showed us she could sit without help.

The day before Lacey,Lance and the girls had to leave to go back to Vegas we went to my grandma's house and took the girls sledding. This was the perfect place because we (those that didn't want to get in the snow and had to take care of babies) could sit inside and watch. There wasn't a ton of snow but a perfect little hill for the kids. The guys made this little jump for the girls to go off of once they got used to going down just the hill. As you can kinda tell, they got some pretty good air and loved it!
This is my grandma with the swimming pool so we used a few of the swimming tubes to send the girls down on.
This tube was funny because they thought they were actually steering with the handle bars like on a real jet ski. You would see them going down the hill and start to move it back and forth like they were making themselves move, we couldn't stop laughing.
Logan and Elliott cruising down the hill on the swim tubes.
At first Logan didn't really care to go down the hill but after she went down a few times she didn't want to stop.
Maybe this could be why...Kurt was at the bottom so that they wouldn't run into the fence. Sometimes they would get going so fast they would take him out, it was fun to watch and the girls thought it was funny when they would ram into him.
Logan also thought it was fun to go down this little slide into the snow.
WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Makinlee was actually sledding also most of the time, just when I actually came outside to take pictures she was taking a break. She did go down with her mom, Hailey, and this was the end result...straight for the fence with Lance chasing them down to help slow them down.
Here arethe guys with shovels in hand making a perfect little trail for the girls to sled down. As you can see they didn't have much to work with, there was not a ton of snow.
Aunt "G" was at the top to get them situated before she sent them on their way!
This picture is of Logan and Elliott on New Years Eve night. Both of these swim suits are from the last few years and are left at my paren'ts house for when they want to get in their hot tub and they were both a little snug...it was pretty funny to see their little bum cheeks hanging out,but of course they didn't mind! I wanted to post this picture to also let everyone know of the amazing New Years we had. My parents took on a huge, crazy task...they let not only Logan and Elliott stay over for a sleepover but...Karsyn and Kennedy too! My first night without the twins and it came when they were only 9 months old, can you believe my crazy mom and sister Gen??? I was going to leave just Logan and take the girls with us over to our friends Heather and Cam's house but they were still kinda sick and I didn't feel right taking them over because of their baby and our other friends baby so my mom said that I could leave them and then I would just come back after midnight and get them. She has been offering to help one night because of all the sleepless nights we got with 3 sick kids but...how could I ask her to do that?? Well I put them to bed and we went to Cam and Heather's house around 8:30. I kept calling or texting Gen and they stayed asleep so at 1:00am when we went to leave I text Gen and she said they were still asleep and not to come and get them so...I didn't! We went home around 3:30 AM and went to bed and then set our alarms to wake up around 8:00AM to head over to get them. Gen had Karysn in her bed and my mom stayed with Kennedy and they said they both woke up to eat around 2:00 and then went back to sleep until morning. I can't even tell you how great it was to have a little break and how crazy I still think Gen and my mom were to take it on! Thank you guys so much,we owe you guys so big!
