SPlisH sPlaSH !!!!

The summer has finally started and we have already spent a few days at the pool. All three girls love it, and could play in the water all day! The twins don't even care that the water is kinda chilly for them, they would swim away in it, if they could!! This makes for not such a relaxing pool time, but that is OK!

Logan is just as brave as last year. She needed her Daddy to catch her off the diving board a few times but then after that she was going and going all by herself!
Now she is even learning "tricks" like twisting in the air and jumping backwards!
She didn't get her swim hair done this day and so she had some crazy hair all day!

Now for the trick time...after the boys were bored with snorkeling they started diving and flipping (I guess that is what it would be called) Here is Clay doing a flip!

I got this one at the wrong time but Clay was jumping pretty high and getting a lot of air!

This picture was just funny because Clay went to kick Kurt off the board and so he just jumped in and it looks like he jumped right into the wall... what a chicken!

Logan's Preschool Graduation!!!

Our little girl is getting so BIG!!! She finished her first year of preschool. I think it is funny that they call it a graduation because she still has one more year, but here it is!!!
They of course did a little program that they had been practicing for a while with songs and little parts that they all had to have memorized. Their teacher Miss Megan said at the beginning that she knows that all the kids know these songs and their parts because every time they would practice they would sing so loud they would wake up her baby upstairs! And then of course, you could barely hear any of them singing...typical kids! Here is Logan doing the Pledge of Allegiance with her wrong hand..haha!

Logan saying her part..."The cow jumped over the moon in Hey Diddle Diddle. And did you know too the cat plays the fiddle". She knew her part so good but when she got up there she wouldn't say a word. I think at the end she started to say something, but there was a loud jet that went over so nobody but Megan heard it! Good job Logan!
This is some of her classmates singing the "Tootie Tot" song...if you all know that! Logan was just kinda just watching, but the kids that were actually doing it, it was hilarious!

Logan and Mommy! I am so proud of Logan, she is really shy when she is with people she doesn't know, but I can see that she has really come out of her shell with all her new friends that she made in school this year. She didn't know anyone going into it, and now says that she loves to go to school with all of her "friends" and always asks to play with them all. She also learned so much. She can write her full name along with all the other letters in the alphabet, and also her numbers. It is so crazy how much kids grow up and learn over the 3-4 year age. Kurt and I are constantly amazed at the things she knows and says. We love you Logan!

Logan and Grandma Laurie. We always have such great support for anything our family does and this was no different. Grandma Laurie took off from work for a few hours to come, Grandma Lindee, who was not feeling good at all, still came, and then my sister Hailey and her kids. Thanks so much for coming everyone and for all the help we have had with the girls and Logan this school year to make it possible for Logan to get out and play with her friends and learn in preschool!!!

Start of Summer fun!

Well if it seems like I posted a lot of park pictures already, I have! We have been going to the park a lot lately before it gets too hot because Logan loves to play on the playground and the little girls love to go hang out on the blanket watching their big sister!
One great thing about daddy being home right now is he can come to the park with us!

Kennedy...yes that is dirt. Are there any calories in dirt, I was kinda hoping so since she got a big mouth full of it by the time I noticed she was into it!

We also went camping for the first time this summer last night. We went up to Farmington Canyon hoping to go to our "usual" spot...it was taken!!! So we headed up farther up the canyon and found another spot. Here is Logan and cousin Makinlee. They were such good friends on this little over nighter and had so much fun together!

Roasting marshmellows! I love it that Logan is old enough to actually enjoy all this stuff now! By the way we left the twins at home, maybe next time we will bring them and see how they do in the great outdoors...that will be fun!
Makinlee in her sweet "fire glasses"! She got these glasses when she went to the eye doctor the other day and all night she kept saying that the fire was too hot and it was hurting her eyes. In order for her to be able to roast her marshmellow Clay put these glasses on her and she was good to go the rest of the night! It was pretty funny!

This picture doesn't look that funny to everyone I am sure, but Kinlee was standing on the shovel like her daddy does in the yard and she looked so funny because she doesn't weigh enough to have the shovel even go a millimeter into the ground.
