Camping 2010

We went camping a couple weekends ago up Farmington Canyon and decided to actually bring the girls with us this time. They have not been with us before, usually they just stay home with grandparents, but this time they got to come! They loved it, despite all the rain! It started raining soon after we got there and then after dinner it cleared up for a few hours.

Who would have thought that in the middle of the summer, leaving our 97 degree temperatures by our house, that it would be raining and cold! We still had a lot of fun.

Because of all the rain, we had a hard time getting the dinner cooked! The guys made this little cover for the fire and eventually it worked and our yummy food was done!
Our crazy little 5 year old that doesn't EVER get cold. We all had sweatshirts and stuff on and she refused to put hers on, or go in the tent trailer with all the other kids.

The girls had so much fun running around with all their friends. We had 5 two year olds, a 3 year old, and a 5 year old!

Cam and Heather also brought up their 4 wheeler and Kurt took the kids all on a little ride. Don't let the happy face of Kennedy fool you...as soon as she realized that I was not going with them, she wasn't so happy!
Christian and Amber brought their razor and took everyone for some fun rides! The kids sat and played in this thing even when we were not riding, they thought it was so much fun! My girls mostly liked buckling and unbuckling themselves...weird!
Getting ready for bed! This is the part I really dreaded of camping but the girls ended up doing great! They went right to bed pretty much! As you can see the girls are a little messy from the smores we did before bed.

Maddie, Karsyn, and Logan on another ride! They were such crazy girls and loved loved loved going for rides !! Thanks Christian and Amber for putting up with them! The girls did so good camping, now we are ready to take them again..I think!

Our little Kindergartener!!!!

Our baby Logan has started Kindergarten! I can't believe it, she is growing up so fast! We are on year round school here so she actually started on July 20th! We are on C track so we are already off track right now after only a couple weeks of school! She was so excited to start and looked forward to going every day she went, even though she had to set her alarm and get up early! We all know how Logan loves to stay up late and sleep in but she has been so good about getting up in the morning! We will see how that goes when the newness of school wears off!

She looks a little worried here but she really wasn't! She has a few people she knows already in her class including the little girl that we moved in next door to, which has worked out perfect!
Here she is with her little friend from next door Caitlyn! It has helped her so much with the move and starting to school to have a little buddy!
She lines up with her class and then the teacher will come out and get them! Looks like she won't be the tallest kid in the class this year! I can't believe Logan is in school already and I hope she keeps loving it, makes new friends, and keeps learning more and more! I love seeing kids discover new things and learn! Yea Logan!

Park City

We went with all the Lindsay side a couple weekends ago to Park City to spend a few days. The girls had so much fun swimming in the pools, running around outside, and they even loved the Alpine Slide!

We went and did some shopping at the outlets one of the days and let the kids play on the playground for a while.

Karsyn waiting to go down. She is our little chicken, she did pretty good but was whining a lot of the way down. I think she still had fun though!
We stayed at the Marriott and they had fun little crafts and activities for the kids to do during the day and after we spent the day at the pool, the older kids stayed and made "flower headbands". Kurt stayed with Logan and I took the little girls up to the room to get them dressed. I suppose that was a bad idea because Logan made this lovely thing! At least she had fun I guess. When we got home, I took off most of the flowers and made them into flower clips that the girls could actually wear. Logan was OK with it because I let her pretty much do it, and she LOVES crafty stuff!

The last day before we headed home we took Logan back up to go on the Alpine Coaster. The girls were not tall enough so they had to stay back on this one. This is the first time we have done this one, it was fun!
Grandpa took the girls on the merry go round instead! They didn't want to get off!
We had so much fun playing with cousins, playing in the water and lounging out in the sun! We love summer!

The girls were taking turns washing each others butts. I had to wash them off after they pooped in their swim diapers and this is how we do it! They think it is great to keep washing each other long after they were clean! Just thought I would share!
