Memorial Weekend

Well we actually had a Memorial weekend that was not freezing this year! I will not go as far as to say it was real warm, but not freezing! We kept up the tradition of going camping with Clay and Hailey and the kids up Farmington Canyon for one night over Memorial. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Lindsay for taking the little girls overnight for us so we could go. Call me crazy but I am still not ready to tackle the twins camping...maybe when it gets a little warmer!

As you can see with my beanie, it was pretty cold, but Clay and Kurt always make us a fabulous fire!
Hailey, Logan, and Kinlee sitting by the fire, waving the smoke away.
Silly girls! We had so much fun taking the 2 "big" girls camping and leaving the crazy 2 year olds home with grandparents!! whahoo!
Me and my sis, who looks so cute even camping...as opposed to me and my awesome beanie!
Clay working on our hobo dinners!

Sitting by the pretend fire, next to the fire!
Roasting da mallows!
The next morning we decided to hike around a little. We took the girls down by the little stream. They thought it was so fun!
And the boys took them across while we stayed and took pictures!
Clay and Kinlee went back to camp UP the hill, again Hailey and I went back the other way.
Kurt and Logan too! It is crazy that these boys can carry a kid up a hillside and not fall but if I went up just myself, I would crash to the bottom!
On Memorial Day {night} we had my family and Kurt's family over for a little BBQ! Kennedy chowing down on her, high calorie, cookie!
That is right, we busted out the bad mitten. Logan was really good, butt crack and all!
Gen and Kurt
Grandma Lindee with Karsyn. She pretty much switched off holding the twins because they wanted in on the game but couldn't hit it on their own! She did awesome even holding them!
Now Logan is in her serious game attire...dress ups!
We had such a fun night with all our family (except for Hailey and Lacey and their families) and we are all so grateful to have such amazing people to spend the holidays with! We are also grateful for all those who have and currently serve our country! We love and appreciate you all!
