Flashback to the 80's!

Our friend Amber threw a surprise party for our friend (her husband) Christian for his 30th birthday the other night. It was an 80's themed party and the invite we got said to dress up 80's style so...we did! We got there and we were the ONLY ones dressed up, oh well! We had fun and I think we looked pretty good (or bad)!
You can always count on Hailey and Clay to set the bar high! They text right before and said they were dressed up and that we better be too! I am glad we threw some stuff together because when they said "dressed up", they weren't kidding!
Believe it or not, Clay had all this stuff at home already! Haha! He looked awesome! Kurt always ends up wearing my clothes somehow when he gets dressed up. He is wearing my pants (which I don't look that skinny in, not fair) and he is also wearing my shirt and my sister's little vest thingy. He borrowed Clay's boots. I also helped Kurt with his make up!
Me and Deb (from Napoleon Dynamite), I mean my sister Hailey!
Amber, Me and Hailey! I think those bangs suit me well!
Doesn't Hailey look awesome too! We both borrowed shoes from my sister Cassidy, funny that kids wear those right now!
They had a bunch of food and a DJ too! It was fun, you did great Amber!
Logan even sported her side pony and wanted to wear the same blue eyeshadow that I had on! She was confused why we looked the way we did and we kept telling her this is how we dressed when we were little like her. She also wondered if all the boys would be dressed like girls at the party like Daddy. I love kids!

Logan is 5!!!

Well I can't believe it, Logan is another year older! She turned 5 on June 18th so we have been doing some celebrating! First off she wanted toast and milk for her birthday breakfast, yea for me, easy! Kennedy was still in bed so just Karsyn got to watch her blow out her candle!
This was Logan's first year that she got to have a friend party! Toy Story 3 came out on her birthday so we decided to take a few of her little friends and go see it! We had everyone come over a little early to open presents and eat cake and ice cream!
This Barbie is from Mom and Dad, she loves Barbies right now and we thought she would love the sparkly dress on this gal!
She invited Preslie, Harlee, cousin Makinlee, new little neighbor friend Caitlyn, Jaiden from preschool and also her good friend Peyton who couldn't make it!

All the girls waiting to eat their cupcakes and ice cream on the Hannah Montana table! Logan is so into Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus right now!
We forgot to have her blow out the candles until she was already eating her cupcake so we just stuck them in and sang anyway! Happy Birthday Logan!
Kennedy enjoying her some cupcake too! High calorie cupcakes BTW!
Karsyn too! The girls stayed home with Grandma Laurie while Kurt and I took the kids to the movie! Thanks for helping us out, and letting this party be Logan's day without all the attention going to her sisters!
Jaiden, Logan and Caitlyn waiting for their movie to start eating their candy!
All the girlies, Makinlee, Preslie, Harlee, Caitlyn, Logan and Jaiden! Good thing we went to a kid movie, in the middle of the day, because towards the middle of the movie they got a little restless. They had to take potty breaks and run up to the front of the theater to check out the view up there! Overall they did really good though, I thought it was a successful first friend birthday party!
After the movie was over, ready to go home (at least Kurt and Hailey and I were) haha!
Grandma Laurie gave Logan this cute skirt that Logan has to wear everyday! Good thing she looks so cute!
The girls wanted to take a picture with the birthday girl!
Me and my birthday girl! I just love this girl, she is such a big help to me with her sisters! She is such a sweetie and growing up so fast! I have not taken her in for her 5 year check up but I am pretty sure I can guess she will be 100% in her height as usual and probably like 25% for her weight. She is just a tall lanky thing. Guess we will see in a few weeks when she goes in! Logan is still really big into anything artsy or crafty, Barbies, dolls, coloring, and playing with friends and cousins. She still loves turkey or PB and J sandwiches, chicken and french fries, pizza, yogurt, strawberries, broccoli (as long as it is not cooked) and she loves shrimp, just to name a few! She loves Hannah Montana, Shark Boy and Lava girl, SpongeBob Squarepants, and icarly! She is loving the warm weather and spending time at Grandma Swim swim's pool, just finished up soccer, and is now starting to take gymnastics once a week! She is looking forward to Kindergarten starting on July 20th!!!
Happy birthday to our silly Logan! (This is the "treat" she got at Red Robin for her birthday) They are generous, we will have to remember this for other birthdays!

Memorial Weekend

Well we actually had a Memorial weekend that was not freezing this year! I will not go as far as to say it was real warm, but not freezing! We kept up the tradition of going camping with Clay and Hailey and the kids up Farmington Canyon for one night over Memorial. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Lindsay for taking the little girls overnight for us so we could go. Call me crazy but I am still not ready to tackle the twins camping...maybe when it gets a little warmer!

As you can see with my beanie, it was pretty cold, but Clay and Kurt always make us a fabulous fire!
Hailey, Logan, and Kinlee sitting by the fire, waving the smoke away.
Silly girls! We had so much fun taking the 2 "big" girls camping and leaving the crazy 2 year olds home with grandparents!! whahoo!
Me and my sis, who looks so cute even camping...as opposed to me and my awesome beanie!
Clay working on our hobo dinners!

Sitting by the pretend fire, next to the fire!
Roasting da mallows!
The next morning we decided to hike around a little. We took the girls down by the little stream. They thought it was so fun!
And the boys took them across while we stayed and took pictures!
Clay and Kinlee went back to camp UP the hill, again Hailey and I went back the other way.
Kurt and Logan too! It is crazy that these boys can carry a kid up a hillside and not fall but if I went up just myself, I would crash to the bottom!
On Memorial Day {night} we had my family and Kurt's family over for a little BBQ! Kennedy chowing down on her, high calorie, cookie!
That is right, we busted out the bad mitten. Logan was really good, butt crack and all!
Gen and Kurt
Grandma Lindee with Karsyn. She pretty much switched off holding the twins because they wanted in on the game but couldn't hit it on their own! She did awesome even holding them!
Now Logan is in her serious game attire...dress ups!
We had such a fun night with all our family (except for Hailey and Lacey and their families) and we are all so grateful to have such amazing people to spend the holidays with! We are also grateful for all those who have and currently serve our country! We love and appreciate you all!

So behind!

This is why you usually see me posting on here every week or more...because if I don't, I get too behind and don't feel like catching up! We have been doing some fun stuff at the start of summer 2010 so I can't just ignore all the pictures I need to catch up on! First off Logan graduated from preschool (again)! This time, as opposed to last year being 3, she is all done with preschool and ready for Kindergarten!!!
Here is Logan in her cute graduation cap!
Her teacher Miss Megan saying bye to Logan! She told a funny story that I don't really remember other than she told Miss Megan one day that Kurt was like 14 and I was 15 years old or something like that! Silly girl!
Logan and her class singing their cute songs! I love what preschool has done for Logan not only academically but also socially! She is really pretty shy most the time and spends the majority of her days with 2 year olds , but going to school has really helped Logan come out of her shell and make new friends! I also really enjoyed seeing Logan memorize songs for her program, kids amaze me! She sings all these patriotic songs that I don't even know!
Logan and her friend Lily standing for the "L" girls in their song! We didn't get a picture of Logan saying her part, but she did great! She had to say "We all come from different places, but friends are we. Can't you see our happy faces"! She had it memorized and didn't even freeze when she had to go up and say it, like I would have! She also memorized her phone # to say in the program, so this year I didn't have to go up and whisper it in her ear! Yea me!
Just a couple funny pictures of the girls before the graduation, in their matching outfits...those are shirts not dresses but they took their pants off! They love pushing each other in their strollers!

Kangaroo Zoo!

On one of these last rainy days we have had, we went to Kangaroo Zoo with Grandma Lindee and Clay, Hailey, Makinlee, and Wyatt! The kids had so much fun, even the little ones, who last time we went, were way too young!
Kennedy and Wyatt playing in the "toddler" part, which they spent most of their time in!
Had to throw in this funny picture of Kennedy and her "cheese". Great picture!

Clay and Wyatt. Wyatt was so funny, usually he is just about the most smiley guy you have ever seen. For some reason, he kept such a straight face the whole time we were there, even down the slides!
I could barely get any pictures of there two crazies! They just went from one thing to the next and had so much fun!
Hailey and Karsyn, I think that was Karysn...Hailey???
Me and Wyatt. Don't be jealous of my awesome face, and 4 chins! I was having a great time, as you can see!
Karsyn and Kinlee ridin the dino!
Wyatt and the girls!
These pictures of Logan crack me up. She would jump up and land on her side to slide down the slides. Hilarious to watch.
Kinlee!!! I am so glad my kids have some cousins close to be able to do fun stuff with! We also love our far away cousins, and miss them every time we do anything fun!
Face plant on the side. Haha!
Not sure, we got some great pictures with all this running around.
Karsyn chillin. She looks like she has a black eye, which she does, but it was actually from getting into the car to go to Kangaroo Zoo. I am sure most people there thought it happened there because it was pretty fresh.
Kennedy going down the little slide. Kennedy is our dare devil, Karsyn is our play-it-safe chicken!
