sWIMming LessOnS and part 1 of cousin time...

Clinton Days Carnival with Cousins!!!
For the start of the fun packed week with Lacey and the girls here, we decided to go to the Clinton Days carnival. Thanks to Grandma Gaylene we got a ton of tickets for the kids to go on all the rides! Thanks Gaylene!
Elliott and Rya on the motorcycles...a good warm-up ride!

This was before Kinlee got there and all the girls wanted to squish in one little car. Elliott and Logan got in and then Rya followed squishing her bum on in...it was so cute and funny!
The best of friends (most of the time) Elliott, Makinlee and Logan! We are so glad that you guys are here to visit!
Waiting to go on the Merry-go-round! Rya Logan Elliott and Makinlee. As you can see this was only like the third ride and we are all starting to sweat like PIGS! The hottest day of the year so far, we should be at the pool guys!
Merry-go-round!
They let us get on with the babies too! Karsyn loved loved loved it grinning the whole time..of course you can't see that in the picture (DAD) because the pole is right in the way! Kennedy however, was just not that into it. She just wanted Cassidy to stand and hold her...weird girl! That was the extend of the rides that K and K got to enjoy, the rest of the time we had them in the shade or stroller because they just wanted to run around and it was too hot!
This was by far the most entertaining thing of the day. As you all know, this one goes around while the little balloon thingys turn around also. You can see Makinlee laying on Elliott and this is how she was, with this same face, the whole time...she wanted to puke! Elliott didn't mind it too much I don't think but this was her face part of the time too! When she got off she said " I didn't really like that ride Mom"! Logan was just fine, and probably entertained by Rya! Rya was hilarious, she was white knuckled and yelling "HELP" "HELP" and then also looked like she wanted to puke. So sad but so funny!
When the ride was over...get me out of here!
Aunt Lacey taking Logan and Elliott on this "big girl" ride! I didn't volunteer because I was still sick from the Merry-go-round. I can barely sit in a swing anymore without wanting to puke...so pathetic!
The swings!

And last, the "baby boats"! Hailey put Wyatt in for a ride but I was afraid that the girls would jump out into the water, so they just watched. They didn't have a very good strap to keep them in and I didn't feel like taking a swim myself to rescue them in the water! I am mean!
Logan's Swimming Lessons!!!

Well another summer brings, another swimming lesson for Logan! Since we are still up here in Pleasant View we had no idea where to take her without having to drive down to Layton every day for 2 weeks. My sister in law takes her kids up to Brigham City to The Peak so we decided we would go there too! They did such a good job, the teacher was great and Logan loved her, and learned a lot!
This is on the last day when they let the kids play for the last 10 minutes or so!
All of the pictures are taken of behind her or above her since I just sat on the side every day and watched in the blasted heat! That is torture but it was fun to watch her!

The teacher had them practicing their "arrow arms", this girl next to Logan will kindly show you what Logan was supposed to be doing! Haha!

Here is Logan swimming through the hoola hoop! Good Job!
This was hilarious to watch her diving for the "treasure", which was just a bunch of rings! She is doing so good about going under water...she doesn't mind at all and would always come up from the water with an arm full of rings! She is the one under water next to the girl in the goggles!
Putting the rings away!
Here is her "arrow arms" again and since she is last in line, I think her arms were getting a little tired!
The one thing that Logan doesn't like still is floating on her back! She won't relax, I am not sure why she hates it so much.
Getting all dried off to go home, just to come back again the next day, and the next...

Practicing their "chicken, airplane, soldier" arms! They were supposed to practice this when they went to bed too, she liked that!
Here is when they played that "Crocodile, crocodile, what time is it game???" She usually ended up running on the bottom instead of swimming but she had fun!
Diving for more rings
There is her little bum sticking up in the air diving down to get a ring! Logan had so much fun and if I was up for driving to Brigham every day again, I would put her in another session...we will see!
