Fun with Cousins...probably only part 1

Well I know I have a million pictures posted all the time but I love taking pictures of the kids! Lacey and the girls are still here for a couple days so I think I better post what we have been up to so far because if I wait until they leave and try to post all the fun stuff we did...it would be way way too long!
One thing we have done is, of course, Chuck E Cheese! Logan always loves it, this time she won the "jackpot" on one of the games that actually took some skill and won a ton of tickets...they just kept coming! It was fun to see her get so excited! Here is what the little girls did the whole time we were there, I can't believe they just stayed in their seats the whole time except I know all the lights and noise helped!
Rya...she wouldn't smile for me! Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks and lips!
Makinlee riding in the jeep, with her "new" smile!
Logan and Elliott in the tunnel!
Me and my beautiful big sister Lacey! We love it when we get to spend time with you guys!
I know this picture is really fuzzy, it is because they were all running to see Chuck E and they had to figure out a way to all hold hands and run the whole way there...it was funny to watch!
What a bunch of posers...with Chuck E! Rya wouldn't go near him!
Logan and Elliott loved this TV to watch themselves dance on it!
Waving bye to Chuck E
Now the next adventure we took was on Saturday. We decided to take all the kids on the Front Runner down to Gateway. It was so much fun, the kids loved it! Here are the twins on their first train ride...they only lasted in their seats for a minute! I guess I forgot to post the pictures of Karsyn and Kennedy looking out the window...it was the cutest picture, they loved watching out the window at all the moving stuff!
Logan and cousins Karlee and Jake got to come too!
We were excited that Grandma Laurie and Rachel got to come too and sad that Papa Chuck was home sick.
Me and Karlee...I love this girl!
Logan, Makinlee, and Elliott on the way down to SLC
I had to throw this picture in because I had to show you all silly Makinlee and her "tongue craziness" lately
Cousin Jake and the elephant he made at Build-A-Bear...although I am pretty sure he wasn't done dressing him all up!
Once we got down to Gateway we took all the kids to Build-A-Bear and let them all make something fun! As if we need any more of these things but a 3 year old isn't going to let you go in there and just watch all her cousins make something.
Washing their animals before dressing and naming them
Elliott made a frog and Logan made a Hannah Montana bear with a Tinker Bell outfit...weird combo I know, pick your battles right! Her bear even sings the Hannah Montana songs...lucky us (thanks Karlee for showing Logan how cool that would be!!!)
On the ride back home with her bear!
Karlee on the ride home with her matching Hannah Montana bear!
Cassidy and Elliott
My Mom, Hailey and Wyatt, Lacey and Rya!!! ( I know I do the exclamation point a lot but that means fun, exciting, and/or cool...and that is for most pictures) lol!
Rachel, Karsyn, and Grandma Laurie
We have to have at least one nostril shot of Kurt and I on each post!!!
Kennedy chillin in her seat on the ride home!

1 year stats and Logan's new tutu!

I just thought I would post the update from the girls one year well check with their doctor. Karsyn weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and Kennedy was 10 lbs 12 oz!!! They are both doing great. The only thing we have to follow up on now is taking both of them down to Bountiful to an ENT doctor. While we were at the follow up clinic a couple weeks ago the audiologist found fluid in both of Kennedy's ears and because her ear canals are too small to see into, they need to send her to an ENT to see into the ear and decide how to get the fluid out. If you don't it can affect the baby's speech and hearing. Other than that, the girls are both doing great and Karsyn is even on the charts now in her height!!!
These are just some pictures of Sunday when we decided to venture to church...a rare thing! They just looked so cute in their little outfits and flowers! They would both be in heaven if their Daddy would just hold them all day long like this. I am sure even 24 pounds gets a little heavy after a while otherwise I am sure he would!

Kennedy

Mommy and the girls!

Karsyn

Today when we went to my friend Jen's house for play day, us Moms decided to play a little ourselves. We made our little gals a tutu. I have made all three girls already but of course they are in storage so...I guess I had to just make another one!!!

Of course because I am a little crazy...I will probably keep rearranging all the stuff on it and it will never be good enough. I just have to tell myself that Logan will just trash it anyway and to leave it alone!

Logan was doing so many crazy faces that I just started taking the pictures without her face in it...I am horrible I know!

This girl loves anything girly!!!

The final product...kinda hard to see but it is pretty cute!

1st Birthday Party!!!

OK, I know that my last post was forever long too but there were just too many pictures that were too good to not show...so sorry for another long post! I tried to get some cute pictures of the girls before the party but of course there was NO COOPERATION!! But they are too cute anyway!

Karsyn having a little pre-cake snack!
Karysn and Papa Denis and Grandma Lindee
Let the opening begin...ya they didn't do much and were a little overwhelmed with everything
They just stuck to eating the presents and cards

Good thing they have so much help with their big sister Logan
Me and my birthday girls
Again, eating the bows
We also gave Logan a few things so that she wouldn't feel bad with the girls getting all the attention. She got a new Ken doll with some clothes and a new Barbie bag to haul around her Barbies in!
Now to the fun part...here is Kennedy in her princess crown all clean
And Karsyn in her crown all clean
Let the fun begin...
It is sad that Kennedy can barely reach over the tray to reach her cake but...she made do!
Where has this stuff been my whole life!!!
Yummy Karsyn
Starting to get a little messy now!
I couldn't believe how much Karsyn actually got in her mouth
Their cake
Logan waiting for her cake and icecream
The girls still going at their cakes...ya the high chairs were really fun to clean!
Cousins Karlee and Jake
Karsyn doesn't look that bad because her face is pretty clean but her lap was where all the cake ended up!
And we thought they wouldn't care about their birthday
You have a little something on your face Kennedy
Kennedy decided she needed a butter cream facial!
Nice Kennedy
Who knew the girl who won't eat food...loves cake!
I think Karsyn started to feel a little sick from actually eating so much of it!
Karsyn's damage on her cake
Kennedy's damage on her cake
Getting cleaned up in the tub after. The tub was disgusting after...thanks Grandma Laurie for taking on the task!

We had so much fun having all of our family over to help us celebrate the girls first year under their belts and thank everyone for all the fun gifts. We love you all and couldn't have made it through to this day without you all!

*PS I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be placing another Mary Kay order if anyone wants anything (my cost is 50% off +tax) Let me know if you want anything or want to look at a catalog. Lacey remind me what you want too!
