Well another whole year has gone by now and Karsyn and Kennedy turned 2 yesterday!!!
I wanted to make sure and get some pictures of them on their actual birthday since we are not doing their party until Saturday. This is what you get when you tell them to spit their tongues out...they will learn!
Karsyn and Kennedy with big sister Logan! The best big sister ever!
The girls are just at the most fun age ever! I was telling Karsyn to give Kennedy a hug, which normally she will do, this is what I got! An attack! As you can see from Kennedy's face, it came as a surprise to her too!
There is a hug, kinda!

Now it is Kennedy's turn to give Karsyn what she deserves! That usually only lasts as long as someone can help her, Karsyn can too easily push her off!
So here is the scoop on the girls at age 2:
We have not taken them in for their well check/stats yet but I am pretty sure they are around 16lbs and 20 lbs. We will see for sure next week!
The girls are so much fun, I don't know how I got so lucky to have twins! I love it (most of it)!
Karsyn is of course the older of the two (by only a few minutes) and she is also the "leader" when the two are together. She knows she is bigger, stronger, and among other things, she can reach the door handles to get them into trouble easier! While she comes across as the "big" bully of the 2, she is also so sweet and shy. If we are ever around other people, Kennedy warms up to them much easier than Karsyn. Karsyn is my lovey little Mama's girl who will just sit on my lap if we are around people she doesn't know very well. She is starting to talk sooooo well. I am amazed every single day the words and now sentences she is putting together. I can't even list them because she pretty much can say or repeat anything at this point! One of the cutest words right now that she says is "go outside"! She pushes her little lips out like she is pouting and just says it so cute! We love you Karsyn!
Now for little Kennedy! She is one amazing chick! Not only is she teenie tiny and completely fearless, but she is getting so smart! Kennedy is not afraid of anything, while you would think she would be! The only thing she hates is when Daddy swings her upside down, for whatever reason she gets soooo scared. Kennedy is the friendlier of the 2 and will open up and play with people she does not know much faster than Karsyn. Kennedy is very patient and it takes a lot to get her really mad. She puts up with a lot of crap being little, having her big sister pushing her and taking her toys away all the time, and having any kid older (or just bigger) trying to pick her up all the time. It is rare to have her actually fight for something or retaliate. While being tough, she is also the biggest whiner. She will milk ANYTHING for what it is worth. If she gets hurt, or not so hurt, she just needs a little love! Kennedy is also learning to talk really well. She does not say near as much as Karsyn but somehow they still communicate and understand each other. We love you Kennedy girl!
For the girls birthday we went and saw Grandma and some of Mommies old work buddies while Logan was at school. Then we met Daddy near work (yay for working) and went to Carl's Jr. for lunch! We even got to go meet some of the people Dad works for and see his desk and stuff! The girls thought that was fun! Mommy went to recipe group while Daddy took the girls out to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and then we all met back at home and right before bedtime, we gave the girls a cupcake each with 2 candles to blow out!
They didn't really know what to do with the candles, so we helped them. They knew exactly what to do with the cupcake though! They dug right in!

Logan wanted in on the candle blowing too so we gave her a cupcake and candles too!

Just in case you all questioned this...Peek a boo is NOT a good game to play while eating cupcakes (and you are 2 years old)!
Kennedy too!

We knew the girls would make a mess of the cake because, really, they make a complete mess of ANYTHING, but we didn't think we would look almost as bad as they did last year turning only1! Well I guess there is always next year right!!!! Happy birthday to our sweet babies (and yes they will always be MY babies)!!! We love you girls!
