Pre Halloween Festivities!!!

OK so this is why I update my blog so often. I hate being behind and having to post so many pictures at once! Most of you know that October has, so far, been an interesting month for us. I love October and it is one of my favorite months but this year sickness has tried to put a damper on our fun! A few weeks ago we all got sick with the H1N1 (swine flu). Logan was the least sick of all of us so while we were all cooped up in the house, we had to find ways to entertain her still!
Here is me and Logan making little foam witches, pirates, and superheros! Logan loves to do anything artsy or crafty and amazes me every time we do anything with how great she is!
Putting her glitter glue on!
The pirate!
All of our finished little guys and girls!
Next, we bought some of these little foam stickers that you put on pumpkins. Logan had fun putting them on, making different faces, and then Karsyn had fun taking them right off!
Please excuse us that we are all in our PJ's because I think for a few days there, we never got out of them.
After missing a few days of school, Logan had her first field trip of the year that I, and she, really wanted to go to. They went to Black Island Farms and went on a wagon ride to pick out a pumpkin. Here is Logan with her friend Jackson!
Karysn and Kennedy got to go too and pick out a pumpkin! Mostly they wanted to play in the dirt!
Logan's cool pumpkin with it's cool stem!
Me and my girls. Thanks to my Mom too for coming with us even though she had to catch a plane to the Caribbean in only a few hours!
Logan's preschool class with their pumpkins!
After eating donuts and juice, the kids got to go and play as long as they wanted. Lucky for us it was a perfect day!
Karsyn and Kennedy loved the slides too and probably would have went down by themselves if they could get up to it!
The little train!
They could have played in this corn for hours!
Logan and her little friend Jaiden...they were seriously almost flying off of this thing!
Going through the tunnel!
Kennedy too!
My Mom, Karsyn and Logan...oh and the cow!
Last weekend we went with Clay and Hailey and the kids to J and J Nursery and went on another hay ride to get ANOTHER pumpkin!
Kennedy claiming her pumpkin...although we did not take that one!
Karsyn would try to pick up EVERY pumpkin...obviously never being successful!
Here are the final picks! I am a sucker for the cool curvy stems!
Me and the girls with our pumpkins! I didn't get a picture of Logan with hers because she wouldn't look at me. None of her pictures were Blog worthy! haha!
I just had to throw this picture in of Logan. We are staying at my parents house while they are out of town for a few weeks and Logan loves to play in all their dress up stuff. With 5 girls, over time, you collect a lot of dress up! Here she is dressed up as Esmeralda (?)
Last night we went with a bunch of friends and took the girls to the Tree House Museum for a little "Enchanted Woods" thing. Pretty much they walked around in their costumes to different parts of the museum listening to different stories. They got a treat at each stop!
Logan coloring while we waited to get started in her witch costume!
Listening to the story. Hailey acts like she didn't have so much fun! Makinlee is Harry Potter and Karsyn in the background getting into stuff, as normal!
Karysn, Wyatt, and Kennedy! They were so funny because they all had these little hat on with their costumes and so they couldn't tell for sure if it was each other. They would kinda look at each other and then start smiling! Wyatt was a teddy bear!
Kennedy on the horse, while she was supposed to be listening to the story! Ya right!
Karsyn on the horse also! These girls LOVE LOVE LOVE horses! They were in heaven on these even though they didn't move!

Las Vegas Get Away!!!

This last weekend we decided to get away and go visit my sister Lacey and her family in Las Vegas! We let the kids just play at home most of the time but went on a few little adventures! When Lance found out there was a T-Rex down at the Venetian, he had to go, and we drug the kids along with us! (haha)
All the kiddos and me and Lacey! We get some good looks trekking through the casino with all these kids.
It wasn't very easy to get a good picture of the T Rex because of how he was positioned in the room, but here we are with him behind us. Oh and if anyone has any extra money laying around, he is auctioning off for around 8 million dollars!
Duckbill something dinosaur!
It was amazing!
Here are the kids in front of a shark jaw.
And a mammoth, like on Ice Age!
Lacey and I in the elevator! I am always so excited to see her since she has moved away, we don't get to see each other enough! Love you girl!
On the bridge looking over the water in Italy..or just the Venetian still!
Kennedy looking at the water!
Kinda a fuzzy picture but Me and Lacey and the kids again.
Next was the Bass Pro Shop. It is kinda like Cabelas here in Utah.
Only this place has a mermaid...a real one! No, these girls swim down in their little costumes and then when they need air, they get it through their air tube. Here is Elliott talking to the mermaid, giving her a heart!
Now touching the glass!
Kennedy and Karsyn loved it. They actually loved all the fish in the tank more than the mermaid even, but thought it was great to be able to get so close!
Me and Karsyn watching the show!
Kennedy deciding whether she really liked this moose that she wanted to get so close to!
Elliott shooting the guns, she is a pro now!
Kurt and Kennedy watching the girls shoot their guns!
Logan doesn't have the best form, but she had fun!
Haha, we couldn't believe all the "hunting gear" this place had. This outfit looked (and felt) like a pile of trees!
My Mom and Dad ended up getting a hotel because we took over Lance and Lacey's house with our "huge" family! We took the kids over one night to go swimming and sit in the hot tub!
Everyone doing their silly faces, I guess I stopped before the picture was taken.
Everyone but my Dad and Lance sitting in the hot tub! So fun! Thanks so much Lance and Lacey for letting us invade for a while. I had so much fun and I know the girls love to play with their cousins. All in all a great weekend, maybe except for Kennedy and Lance!
